The Mitochondrial and Nuclear rRNA fragment database (MINRbase) is a repository of rRNA fragments (rRFs). MINRbase, similarly to our tRNA fragment database MINTbase, contains multiple vistas. The vistas offer multiple points of view to the user, that focus on different aspects of these molecules.
Depending on whether you want to view the genomic loci of the potential rRNA parental locations, the rRFs existing under some specific criteria, the alignment of rRFs on the potential parental rRNA, the expression evidence of one rRF, or all the information of one rRF, you can choose the Genomic loci, the RNA molecule, the rRNA alignment, the Expression, and the Summary vista on the left. To further narrow down your search results you can use the filters on the right.
MINRbase contains all possible rRFs so it can be used even if a fragment has never been identified before as a potential rRF. To support the existence of rRFs we offer expression profiles of the Lymphoblastoid Cell Lines of the 1000 Genome Project and all TCGA cancers.
Use of the data contained in this database is limited to research-oriented, non-profit activities only. If you are interested in for-profit use, please contact us.
