Margaritis Tsifintaris

Margaritis joined the Computational Medicine Center as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in 2026. He holds a BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics and received his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Democritus University of Thrace in 2024. His doctoral research focused on the computational analysis of high-throughput omics data to identify disease-associated molecular signatures and support biomarker discovery. His broader research interests include translational bioinformatics, microbiome research, and the development of reproducible bioinformatics workflows and biological data resources for studying complex biological systems.
