Rna22 is a pattern-based algorithm for the discovery of microRNA target sites and the corresponding heteroduplexes. More information about Rna22 version v1.0 can be found here.
A new version of Rna22 (v2.0) is currently in Beta testing: v2.0-beta adds probability estimates to each prediction, gives users the ability to choose the sensitivity/specificity settings on-the-fly, and is significantly faster than the original.
The link to the beta version of Rna22 has been made public and can be accessed by going to our data and tools download page. You will see two links for RNA22 v2 – the web link under ‘Data’ gives you pre-computed predictions for known miRs and Genes. Additionally, the link under ‘Tools’ gives you the ability to specify your own miRNA and gene sequences.
